Kalibu is Back

Pretty darn happy to get our Mr Kalibu back last night.  Today happened to be his birthday and the kids all skipped school so we could spend a relaxed day together. Slept in, hung out with the neighbors (who are VERY excited he's back, and helped sing to him)...

had lunch & cocktails at 1000 Hills Distillery...

napped (hey there, jet lag), and went to our nearby Japanese restaurant Sakae for dinner at their hibachi table.  A nice day.  (He's up now prepping for his 2 am council meeting... right back into it.)

In other Kalibu news, guess who got his first tattoo about a month ago??  Check this bad boy out. He got it from the same guy who pierced Lexi's ears.  The art on the side is a classic Rwandan design style we see all over here, called imigongo.  I think the whole thing is adorable.  (Pretty sure that's what he was going for.)
